How to stay on top of social media trends

As a social media manager, I’m often asked, ‘Sam, how do you stay on top of social media trends?’.

And I understand why people ask this question.

Social media trends are always changing. You think you’ve finally nailed the most current trend, and something changes again.

It’s how the online world works – it’s fast-changing.

Part of my role is to keep my ear to the ground, follow the ‘trendsetters’, and evolve how I tackle social media to help my clients stay relevant with their postings.

Here are my top tips on how to stay on top of what feels like ever-changing social media tips.

The companies to watch for social media trends

When it comes to staying relevant to social media trends, I follow a few brilliant people/companies.
